Samsung Galaxy Note And Galaxy S3

The Samsung Galaxy Note And Galaxy S3 – Key Features Compared

In this article I am going to compare some of the key features of the Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Galaxy S3. Both of these phones are the most impressive handsets on the Korean manufacturer’s current line up, and both offer a unique user experience thanks the features included.

As the latest flagship smartphone from the Korean manufacturer, a lot was expected from the Samsung Galaxy S3, and it certainly did not disappoint when it was released a few weeks ago. It is arguably the most advanced smartphone on the market despite competition from the likes of HTC and Apple. Key features of the handset include an 8 megapixel camera which comes with all the usual image enhancing features along with a couple which are exclusive to this handset. One of the more interesting aspects of this phone however is the user interface; in particular some of the features which make the user experience a very intuitive one. For example, when you are reading a text message and you wish to phone the person who sent it rather than respond via SMS, all you have to do is lift the phone to your ear and that person will automatically be called.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is a very different handset to the manufacturer’s new flagship, although it is equally impressive for several reasons. Because the phone is several months older than the Galaxy S3, some of its features are not as advanced. An example of this is the processor. The Galaxy S3 has a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, whereas that of the Galaxy Note is the same clockspeed but dual-core. However, this is still capable of providing excellent performance to many aspects of the handset. There is one feature in particular which makes the Samsung Galaxy Note stand out. This is its 5.3 inch screen, which is the largest on any smartphone currently on the market. Needless to say, having a big screen has many advantages. Everyone from business users (for example when creating spreadsheets or PowerPoint presentations) to those who prefer to use the handset for multimedia use (watching high definition movies and playing game titles downloaded from Samsung Hubs) can benefit from the large screen, especially in conjunction with the S-Pen which is a special stylus pen which is optimised for the Galaxy Note which is stored within a hole in the top of the handset when not in use.

Needless to say, both phones offer plenty more than the features covered in this article but as you can see both offer unique features which appeal to all manner of mobile phone users.
